  1. I drink at least 80 ounces of water everyday. Drinking 2 glasses right before every meal helps ensure that I won't over-eat. It also ensures that I am actually hungry and not thirsty. There are times I think I am hungry and after a glass of water, I realize my body was actually craving fluids. Besides that, it's wonderful and necessary for your body to help flush out all those toxins that can accumulate.

  2. Even though I only have 8 weeks left of this pregnancy, I've been trying to be healthier and drink more water and eat more fruit, instead of junk! My goal is to finish up this pregnancy as healthy as possible and then work to become a healthier Mom, taking care of myself and my family with healthy foods and snacks!

  3. I've been addicted to sugar all my life, so when I started Whole30, it was tough and detox was long. The healthy habit that helped me most was learning to reach for vegetables instead of fruits - and finding good recipes for vegetables were what helped me do it.

The healthy habit I'm still working on is exercising regularly. I know how good it feels, but I just manage to forget more often than not. Setting a routine there is my next goal!

  4. I am brand new to the concept of Paleo and am on Day 5 of Whole30. So far all of the receipes I have tried are delicious and my three year old daughter has loved everything as well. I am excited to try new receipes and the different grocery stores. Blogs like yours truly help me with staying focused and challenging myself to try new things! Thank-you!!

  5. I try to drink more water and eat more of a variety of veggies. Since doing this, I've noticed my sugar intake drop. Plus eating cleaner foods improves my energy.

  6. Drinking lots of water!

I started a whole30 and finally cut out the diet soda! Would love to have both her books, love her website!

  7. I'm doing the Whole30 which is super healthy, and all in all just trying to practice more self care and being good to me! We all deserve it.

  8. Hello! I'm on day 5 of my whole30 and my goal is to make 2 new recipes a week (recipes I've never made before). I've been eating Paleo for 3 years now and getting board!!! This week I made an awesome Manhattan clam chowder and a super yummy grapefruit salad.

  9. These are my three key steps. And they are all baby steps. If your try and change it all at once you are more likely to fail. I am only focusing on three things.
    1. Eat paleo/carbfree and stay away from sugar. This can be hard if you eat in a restaurant but it is impossible. Just leave the fries, rise or whatever side dish you get. Skip dessert. Eat a fruit instead. Fruit is also great if you are hungry in between meals.
    2. Get out and move. You do not need to run but move around on a regular basis is important. I jog on a regular basis and bike to work. Works good for me.
    3. If you really need sweets - buy one small bar of really dark chocolate. That should be enough for one week.
I only follow these rules and it works great. Lost 6 kilos in 3 months. And I did not gain anything weaigth over the holidays. 🙂

  10. I have been doing research mode and have joined a group of people to support each other.
I plan to batch cook and plan ahead this week.
I have also suggested we post a new recipe we tried each week, so others can benefit from something new.

  11. I have been eating paleo for 6 months now, and have started the autoimmune protocol as of January 1st to try to explore some of my health issues that have not been resolved. I am definitely experimenting with new kinds of food, especially for breakfast now that my typical breakfast of eggs is gone.

  12. I'm working on Whole 30. I did it in July but slowly started eating poorly.
I am looking to start to train for a 1/2 marathon soon.

  13. Starting with the new year, I have been planning my meals at the start of the week so I don't run into not having anything to eat. I also bring my lunch to work everyday.
