It was a better day, but that constant headache is driving me crazy. I started the morning with coffee, almond butter, banana, and flax seeds (ground). The banana was not ripe but it was some morning carbs. I wasn’t very hungry for anything else. The Grinch mug was on purpose…
I packed a bag full of stuff. Salad with chicken, sweet potatoes and almond butter, salsa/snow peas, olives, chicken soup.
Lunch: Chicken soup, tangerine
And that’s all I had until late afternoon after a workout. I wasn’t hungry so I didn’t eat. My appetite is way down simply because I don’t feel good so my stomach shuts down.
After a workout, I was hungry and I wanted protein and veggies. I ate some green chili chicken with spinach and chopped onions, mushrooms, and squash. I used olive oil/red wine vinegar on the salad and I could actually taste the veggies, not my dressing. It kept me from being hungry but I wasn’t stuffed and lying on the couch. Progress!
Later for dinner, I had planned on leftover chili, but I never got REAL hungry. I could have eaten, but I just wanted to sleep. This is eerily similar to way back in the days of South Beach, the first “diet” I ever tried.
I was way under any kind of calorie goal but I survived without sacrificing loved ones. 3 days with NO added sugar (the banana has its own) and I hope to see some relief in my headache soon.

It's CLASSIC almond butter with 2 ingredients. Organic almonds and oil. But thanks for trying.
