Fasting BS- 119
So, I made 2 bowls of oatmeal, the steel cut kind, and popped one in the microwave this morning. I added a little milk to it and some cinnomon. The consistency was still just too much for me to stomach. I like the chewier texture of the steel cut, but it wan’t enough. So….I spied my box of Kashi Go Lean! Crunch which is what I use for quick and yummy granola. Touchdown!! I added a 1/4 cup to my 1/2 cup of oatmeal and ate the whole thing. I need to get another box on the grocery list because now that I know what it’s like to have a lot of rocks and twigs in my oatmeal, I don’t know if I’ll go back to the other way. Stay tuned for tomorrows experiment.
With the oatmeal, I had 1 cup of skim milk and 1/4 cup of chopped apple.
