A day off from work calls for cake for breakfast. I made this last night for our church group and it was even better today. This is my regular baby food spice cake with a caramel frosting and praline pecans.
Since I had the morning to myself, I stayed in pajamas, made coffee, and sat down to watch Hocus Pocus.
I’ve never seen this movie before today.
I’m not sure how I managed to make it this far in life and have never seen this movie. I’m a little concerned about myself.
After that movie, I started a string of Hallmark fall movies. I love these as much or more than their 45 gazillion days of Christmas. I worked on my planner for this upcoming week. We have a 3-day work week and some fall weather coming in finally.
While I was lazing the day away, Stephen worked on the front porch. During the summer, wasps, spiders and more spiders had taken over the furniture. It’s too dang hot in June-September to enjoy the front porch so we let the critters have it. With cooler weather coming Thursday, I am ready for some coffee on the front porch and those bugs needed eviction and the furniture needed a cleaning.
