June flew by while on the road out west.
July flew by while enjoying a few days of downtime with Atlas.
And before my school bag was even unpacked, it’s time to pack it back up again. School starts in a few days. As you can see my room is not quite ready.
I have 2 large bookshelves that hold 36 book baskets under those towels. After many years of use, they needed a good sanding and paint job. Stephen has been working in the room with me getting ready for the 2019-2020 year.
With school starting back, that means getting back into routines. That means cooking again. July heat makes it easy to get by with a lot of grill time and quick cold meals.
Back to school also means more blogging about cooking, running, and general life. I love this time of year with upcoming fall and football.
Before we know it, it’s time to find a Christmas tree.
So while I loved my summer to recover from non-stop school August-May, I absolutely love getting to “start over” each August. Welcome back to school!
