Today was supposed to be a rest day but it turned into a CrossFit AND running day. I think my groove is back. And that is why I’m collapsing on the back porch wishing I had a tall glass of tea, but drinking water like a boss.
So what have I been doing lately? Planning! I use it more if I actually write down my lists of things to do. This is my washi collection in a fish tackle box. I’m klassy that way.
Other than working out, still trying to get vacation weight off, and playing with lots of tape, I have been cooking more. I don’t eat as much when it’s this hot. I just don’t like the feeling of a full stomach and humidity. So, I’m sticking to lighter foods like soup, salad, smoothies, and my favorite..
…..breakfast for dinner. Sausage, veggies, eggs, and herbs.
Summer is flying and while I cannot wait for Alabama football….I want more time between now and August 1.
