Mornings are always better with java.
And with an early-morning run to shake out the angst and stress of the last days of school.
Well, the furniture is up and pushed away from the middle. This is the last day of school for the kids. I can honestly say, this year has been the best year in ALL my years. I couldn’t say that last year. This is one of the reasons I love teaching. I have a beginning and an end to each year. If one year is extra-challenging, it is only for a few months and then I get to start over. Kids come and share a small part of their world with me and then I pass them to teachers who can further their education. I love my job, without a single doubt. This year has been full of so many amazing memories!
A celebratory dinner. Well, not really. Leftover lemon and olive chicken. It was good and filled a hungry spot.
The next few days will be short and sweet. I have been doing a LOT of thinking about the direction of this blog. I’ve been thinking about topics, how much time I’m ready or not willing to devote to it, life vs. topics, schedules, building a tribe, etc. For the most part, my traffic is coming from food pictures and recipes from pinterest. I’ve been wondering if I’m okay with that or do I want to make it more than just pictures? Lots of things are bouncing around in my head lately.
