As most of you know, we are traveling around Colorado for the month of June and that means a lot of walking, running, hiking, and climbing. But some days, we are driving from one destination to another and will spend most of the day driving. While I love the scenery, I don’t love the sitting all day. On these days, a travel workout is essential! I need something that requires little equipment and space. I need it to be quick, but include whole body movements. I found this workout to be very effective.
After my workouts, I love to refuel with About Time ProHydrate. This is a protein drink that is ready-to-drink without stirring or mixing. What I love about it is that it’s a clear whey protein that actually tastes great. When the weather is hot and the day has been long, I love drinking this with additional water. I do like and use protein smoothies and shakes, but mostly early morning before work or a workout.
- No artificial colors or flavors.
- Gluten free.
- Available in two flavors, Orange Mango and Raspberry Lemonade.
- 20g of whey protein isolate, 3g Carbohydrates, 95 calories
When I was packing and preparing for a few weeks of travel, I included several bottles of ProHydrate, single serve packets of protein powder, and these pre-measured bottles of Fill Shake and Go. But why protein? Because moving bodies need protein. And because my body functions best when I’m eating more protein and fat and less carbohydrates. I can’t eat bacon and steak all day, especially when traveling. I need easy-to-digest protein options that work while camping, hiking, driving, or sitting on the deck of a condo.
