Running Recap April29-May 3

I can’t believe how fast time is flying by! Twisted Ankle half marathon will be here in 2 weeks. Back in January, I did not plan to run 5 half marathons every 2 weeks, but I have to say, I am really enjoying this racing season.

Monday: 4 miles, easy

Tuesday: 5 miles, easy

Wednesday: 4 miles, tempo

Thursday: 6 miles, speedwork

Friday-Sunday: Road trip to MS! I took 3 full days off and basically crashed for 2 days. I will run long on Tuesday and again on Saturday of the next week.

This has been my best stretch of running in a very long time. I have not been sick with sinus/allergies/pneumonia since the last week of December and I know that is a record for me. I have 2 trail half marathons in one weekend coming up. I know the second one will be extremely difficult after just a few hours’ rest from Twisted Ankle. But, I’m going to try it anyway!
