This was a good week of low miles and recovery from the half marathon. I wasn’t very sore, thanks to some good compression socks! I love an ice bath after a hard race, but it’s not always possible. Anyway, I eased back into mileage Tuesday and put off another long run until next week, probably Tuesday. I didn’t stress too much over getting a ton of mileage.
Wednesday: 3 easy miles
Thursday: 4 tempo
Friday: 4 easy
This next week will be more miles and harder runs. I hope to get the long run on Tuesday and a repeat on Sunday. 2 long runs in one weeks is not out of the ordinary for me so I hope it works out this week. Twisted Ankle half marathon is May 18th. Not far away!
