I really shouldn’t complain because the rain helps keep the temperatures down. But when the rain evaporates, we are left with jungle crud. Running in swampy air isn’t fun, but it’s all I’ve got to work with right now. It has been another good week of base building before marathon training starts!
Monday: full rest day
Tuesday: 4 miles, tempo
Wednesday: 3.7 miles, speedwork intervals
Thursday: 3 miles, easy
Friday: full rest
Saturday: 8 miles, LSD
Next week, I want to do some more speedwork. I’m lighter, now I want to get FASTER! Keep in mind…by fast I mean a little quicker than turtles in peanut butter
