Maroon Bells is one of the most popular places in Colorado. There is even a claim that it is the most photographed area. When I first looked up the Bells, that certainly seemed to be the case. Since we got in late yesterday, we waited until today to go exploring at Maroon Lake which is at the base of the 2 peaks.
I started the morning off with a 3 mile trail run. Then I came back and got all my cameras so I could get some of these views! These are all from the valley between our campsite and the Bells.
After more exploring in the streams and some late afternoon fishing, we went back to the Maroon Bells late evening for some still water shots.
The best still reflection of the day. So quiet and peaceful.

Time is passing too quickly! And I have another night of camp fire reading to look forward to.
