Breakfast scramble for the win. I shall take this idea back to Tuscaloosa. Bacon is a must.

After breakfast, we went exploring. I think the views from the Crested Butte area are fantastic. Wildflowers are definitely blooming here.
After checking out the scenes, we had lunch in town at Teocalli Tamale. This is our first time here and it will now join the ranks of “must eat again” along with the pizza place and ice cream place. I got the special for the day. 2 Tamales with beans, rice, green chili, and toppings. HOLY GUACAMOLE. This was freaking fantastic. 
Tomorrow is our last day here before we head to Telluride for a week of camping. We’ve heard about a new wildfire in the area, so plans must be flexible and we will have a backup plan.
