Yesterday was market day in Crested Butte. Their Sunday market is perfect for an afternoon of walking the town streets and supporting local farmers and businesses.
This is one of our favorite pickle vendors. If we could have hauled back all these jars, we would have.
I picked up a gluten free cream cheese brownie that I suspect will be the best brownie I’ve had in years. I say this because my own brownies are not that good. Gluten free baking is my jam from October to December and I’m much better at seasonal stuff than brownies. Just saying…
We had lunch at McGill’s which is highly recommended for breakfast. Gluten free bread for a grilled chicken mushroom swiss and smashed potatoes.
One last drive up Gothic road out to the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory.
Little known fact about me. I love trying new ice cream flavors. I’m not going with my usual chocolate or strawberry. I want new combos and flavors. Third Bowl has a great list of flavors. I was hoping for the blood orange dark chocolate, but the customer in front of me got the LAST SCOOP.
I had to settle for salted caramel coconut and it was just as fabulous.
Good bye Crested Butte
