The Buff Tech Fleece Headband is a lightweight fleece fabric that packs a powerful punch to winter activities.
I’ll admit, I was curious how such a thin headband could offer warmth AND breathability while cutting the wind out of my ears.
But the designers at Buff know what they’re doing. This piece of fabric does exactly what they claim. I put this on my head, over my headphones, and my ears stayed warm during some frigid cold snaps we’ve experienced in Alabama so far.
Also, we travel out west each year to hike the mountains, and I need all the winter weather gear I can get.
Best features of Buff tech headband
- Lightweight. It fits in any bag, pocket, even my hand when the temps warmed up.
- Breathable. It’s hard to find something that offers breathable fabric while resisting wind flow.
- Wind-resistent. This is the best feature of all. I hate wind in my ears. During this time of year, I’m often dealing with sinus and/or ear infections that love to hang on for a few days. Running in the wind is brutal on my ears.
- No-slip. Holy Moses, this is another feature I didn’t know existed. I have a lot of hair. I have a funky head shape, or so I thought. Every single headband I’ve used has slipped back during a run. Buff has sold me on their brand, thanks to the no-slipping tech fleece headband.
I’m looking forward to trying out more winter gear from Buff. I need some gloves and a hat, so those will be on my Christmas list.
