Boston Strong Tuscaloosa

A few days ago,  Pavement Runner put forth the challenge for towns across the nation to get together today for a memorial run for the Boston Marathon community. We are all runners, we all feel similar feelings at having our passion, our “sport” attacked. And we want to do more.

He said it best:

A run for us to unite and show our strength.
A run for those that were unable to finish.
A run for those that may never run again.
A run for us to try and make sense of the tragedy that has forever changed something we love

Tuscaloosa is stepping up to the challenge. We know how it feels when your town, your people, the heart of your city is hurting.

Here are the details from the event Facebook page.
