Slow Sunday

I’m sure I’ve used this title before.

After getting home from the game around 1AM, all we wanted to do after church Sunday was nap. At one point, I woke up on the couch and Frankie was on top of the couch sprawled out in the only way a 14lb tiger can. He was snuffling in his sleep. Stephen was propped up in the corner of the couch asleep. And I was stretched out feet going every way on the couch and the rain was coming down hard.

Eventually, I had to feed us all.

Leftover frozen beans and greens soup. Mashed potatoes. Cheese toast. The Genius brand of GF bread is great for toast. Still holding out on making a turkey or pb sandwich.

By mid-afternoon, I was dragging again. I got my first fall coffee! This is my favorite flavor so far. I’ve tried the Folger’s caramel. The Dunkin Donuts. An Archer Farms pumpkin. But Jamaican Me Crazy is the best I’ve tried this year.

It may be the last day of September and then my favorite month begins! I’m going to celebrate a day early.
