We just got back from a great vacation and it is HOT in Alabama. It’s quite shocking to feel the humidity that settled in while we were gone. I went to the farmer’s market this weekend and they had beautiful raspberries and I knew just what to do with them. My July issue of Cooking Light had a recipe for a blended drink using raspberries. All I needed to do was plug in the Vitamix! It is a good balance of sweet and tart, light, and refreshing on a hot day.
Raspberry Freeze
Ingredients
- 1 cup of ice
- 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 1/2 ounces water
- 3/4 ounce simple syrup
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
Load ingredients into a blender in the order specified.
