I look forward to this time of year. Fall, football (ROLL TIDE!!) and pumpkins. This year, we wanted to do our pumpkin carving using metal cookie cutters. I saw this on some food show years ago in Memphis and I’ve been doing it each year. But I also wanted to carve a face since I saw some interesting ones on Martha Stewart’s magazine cover. Not that I’m ever going to be like Martha. I don’t like jail or petting goats.
Stephen was like a kid at Christmas tonight. He had the mallet, paper, and pumpkins ready. I could have used another 30 minutes of a good nap, but he was ready to get them started.
Brains, BRAINS!! Ewwwww
