A Day in the life…of the lady who carries around toilet paper.

I only carry it around when my nose is in constant turmoil. It’s a good thing the good stuff was on sale. It REALLY is like little quilts. I never paid much attention to it until I took a picture…

So, how did this day go?

6:00 Alarm goes off. And I mutter some form of whine that doesn’t actually make a sound since my throat and vocal cords are on strike. Whatever sound came out freaked out Frankie and he ran.

8:00 Arrive at school. I’m leaving out 2 hours of snot, whining, coughing up chewable green blobs, and attempting to shower and dress.

10:00 Yeah, I’m not doing this. It’s too depressing.

*Fast forward to 4:00pm*

4:00: The doctor’s dianosis “you’re a big mess!”. Whatever, give me the good stuff. 3 more shots, some scary sounding anitbiotics for stubborn sinus infections/rebound infections, good narcs, and enough mucous thinner to deplete the frog population on Duck Dynasty.

6:00 Enjoy Eucalyptus in all possible forms except, of course, the natural plant form. mist

bath

7:00 pm Re-read a good book while high on cough medicine.

8:00 Feed this bundle of love.

9:00 The steroid shots have kicked in. Massive cleaning project underway as tiger blood zips through me. Frankie hides.

10:00 Sit down to write a blog post 2 years in the making. And then cry. Which brings back the head congestion. SMH.

12:00 am. Crash……into me. That’s the song going through my head for some reason.

Sweet like candy to my soul, sweet you rock and sweet you roll…

Two days until Twisted Ankle!!

Hopefully you feel better today without the craziness of steroids! I love Nora Robert's books but for some reason have never been as big a fan of her J.D. Robb ones.

I ignored Robb for years and finally out of desperation on a trip, read a dog eared copy from a used bookstore. I'm a huge fan now. The investment in the characters is what keeps it going. But I'm not a fan of futuristic fiction and I like how she keeps those few details as minor descriptions and not major story bits. I'm used to them now :)
