I have that song permanently embedded in my brain. It’s that time of year when the tests are over and 5 year olds just want to sing and dance and create and play and read and be a kid. I’m not going to get in their way. The Lego movie song is an often-requested one which means I’m waking up singing it. I have to say this one is better than the Frozen song…

It was a wonderful night and then I got all teary-eyed when I walked in the door. Stephen had to work night shift this week. After several years of understanding what May means to a teacher, I found this note in this clean kitchen.

My workout today consisted of a ton of walking and moving and lifting coolers and tables. Nothing else was squeezed into the day. I came home and crashed hard.
As far as food, well, it’s been non-existent lately. I’m pretty sure my metabolism is slowing to a crawl because I’m not consisted with either working out or eating and definitely not with eating healthy. I can just hear the fat cells saying “This one is feast one day and famine the next. We will just sit right her on her ass until she gets it together”.
