Checking it twice

Happy day off for me! I took a personal day today so I can finish up some shopping, wrapping, and just some Christmas happy time. Too bad for me that I woke up feeling terrible so all I’ve accomplished today is a hot bath and a nap.

I’m a list girl. I have lists for everything. Of course, I have a list for this last weekend before the big day.

~ Gingerbread!

~ Hot spiced cider

~ Tickets to Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast that is showing at Birmingham tonight. I hope I feel a lot better by then.

~ Wrap presents!

~ Post rum ball recipe.

~ Mail my secret Santa gift for the blogger gift exchange! I’m so excited about this. I hope she likes it. I had so much fun picking up a few things for her.

~ Get up to date on my 25 Days of Christmas picture challenge. And post the latest Project 365. I can’t believe I’m up to day 46 already!!

~ decide once and for all what I’m going to do about Christmas cards—traditional cards, or picture cards with a couple of pictures of us. I’m leaning towards the picture cards.

~ So now that I’m pretty sure I want picture cards, now I have to take the pictures and design the cards. Mail the cards.

~ Check the weather at least a dozen times since the “S” word was mentioned for later tonight.

~ Make crescent cheese bundles for lunch. I’m experimenting before I take them to school.

~ Finish downloading new Trans-Siberian Orchestra tunes for the trip to MS next weekend, and for the constant stream of music while I”m flitting around the kitchen.

~ Laugh

~ Eat

~ Run-at some point this weekend, probably not today

He still loves to stalk my bacon. He NEVER gets this close to the table, but that morning, I happened to have the camera lying right there and go those shots. They are blurry from me laughing so hard. He was determined to be stealthy in his quest for my bacon.

Meowy Christmas!

Your cat is just like my little doggie. Whenever there is food on the table,he would keep his paw on the table and look at the food and wait there until we give him his share. So cute.

I couldn't believe I had a camera to catch it. I was reading a magazine when I saw the tablecloth move out of the corner of my eye and all of a sudden this paw just popped up there. He's hilarious in his own stalker way :D
