Back to the grind

I am back home now and after some sleep and house cleaning, I decided to spend the rest of my last week day of spring break trying to organize recipes and the pantry. I am a little sad about going back to school. I could use another week off.

 

I wanted to try some bbq pork loin with my own sauce. I have not found a jar sauce that does not have high-fructose corn syrup in it. I made my own with apple cider vinegar, molasses, and spices. I made yukon potatoes with a garlic herb cheese sauce—

  • ff cream cheese
  • skim evaporated milk
  • garlic
  • parmesan cheese
  • parsley.

The ribs were GREAT! I cooked them all day in the crock pot then put them under the broiler so the sauce could get them a little crispy.
