Wednesdays are usually GREAT days at school. Why? Well….
And it’s Library day. The kids LOVE going to the library and I LOVE having 30 free minutes to question my sanity and perhaps pee.
The headache started late yesterday and it’s hanging on tight. I survived the first 2 days but I’m wondering if I’ll have a harder time with the rest of the week. I don’t like headaches.
One great thing came in the mail today. My welcome package from PopSugar Fitness! A few days ago, I got an email reading I had been selected to join the Select team for their Fitness channel—FitSugar. I had no idea this would be coming to me. Of course, I wanted to eat the sugar scrub, but I managed to maintain some dignity.
And I just now got the irony of a PopSugar reference in the middle of my Whole 30 post.
Breakfast: Nothing. Queasy and sipped water. Not good, but I managed.
Lunch: Sausage Sweet potato quiche I had a big serving of this.
Snack: Apple and water. It was the best apple I’ve ever had and I was actually craving water. I remember this feeling and I miss it. Water is something I RARELY drink when I’m inhaling Cokes at school and tea at home. I’ve had more water in the past 3 days than I have in the past 3 weeks. And that’s just plain SAD.
Dinner: We went to Jason’s Deli where I got a chef salad with no cheese and oil/red wine vinegar. Unsweet tea for some kick. It was really good.
Bring on day 4!
