One more week gone and I have some things that make me smile through the congestion and hacking cough. I wish I could say it was the soothing smells of my own chicken soup. But I didn’t make it. I ate crap or didn’t eat at all. But I got some sleep, read a little, and slept some more.
1. Pretty in Pink. Who doesn’t love high school 80’s brat pack angst complete with white pants and shoulder pads??? And the music. Swoon.
2. The latest installment. # 34. And yes I read all 33 over the past 6 weeks and enjoyed every stolen minute. Now I need to clean my house, feed my cat, and take down some Christmas decorations. Don’t laugh. I’m not kidding.
3. Breathe deep and blow.

5. My favorite end of the bed warmer when I’m home sick. Really, I just needed another excuse for a gratuitous cat picture. I have more where this came from. Just be glad I didn’t post the picture of my sweet precious 18 month old nephew reading a book on his soccer ball potty.
