So now what?

XT: Body Pump

Run: 3 miles

Stress is high, the knee is cranky, and I’m not very optimistic that I’ll get my last long run completed this weekend. I often forget how dependent my mental outlook is based on my running. Doubt is such brain drainer. I hate the “what ifs?”. I hate being crooked. I’m treating this IT issue like I’m back to square 1 and it’s killing me.

Not much to say other than that.

Breakfast! My oatmeal special. Clean granola, raw almond butter, flaxseed, and whipped banana oatmeal. Comfort food if there ever was such a thing.

The rest of the day was hectic. Meetings, kids, test prep..test prep…and more test prep. I’m about fed up with DIBELS. Just sayin’.

 

Finally, after a tough Body Pump class (I’m using the largest two plates on squats!!), I came home to dinner.

After dinner, I ran 3 miles. It was supposed to be 5, but my hamstring on the OTHER leg was really tight and pulling. Not surprising after body pump class.

 

Tomorrow will be a better day. School will be better, my knee and hip will feel better and so will I.
