After the game…..
It wasn’t that great. I found myself cringing and whining at various times. And it felt familiar…similar to last year, maybe? We’ve got some kinks to work out, that’s for sure. And I even had my lucky jalapeño poppers ready. I have been waiting MONTHS to make these. I like them for game days only. I’m a little superstitious about my game day traditions.
I got up and got busy this morning. I’m trying to get good sleep at night and keep busy during the day. Since August is almost over, I decided today was a good day for the Starbucks pumpkin spice. I had a free drink coupon so I used it for a small latte. The barista drew a pumpkin for me which I thought was adorable and it made my day.
More browsing at Target and I found this carton of goodness. I love the texture of Siggis but had no idea Target sold them. My favorite was the Orange Ginger but I had to get it in Birmingham. I saw the section of Siggis and the orange and thought it was the orange. But I might have squealed a little when I saw it was pumpkin.
My day was complete when I saw the Fall Harvest cider.
I know the heat is still around, but I am so ready for a new month, new start, new season. Bring on the fall!
