Happy EARTH DAY!!!!

I woke up and got in 3 miles without any pain, just some stiffness in my hip. I have a race on Saturday so that will be a good test of how it’s feeling. I’ll need to get in some more miles on Sunday or Monday.

My Earth Day breakfast

  • strawberries
  • raspberries
  • mango
  • spinach
  • Amazing Grass Pomegranate and Mango wheatgrass powder

breakfast

The rest of my day was pretty good. I had this for snack.

raw green beans!

beans

Lunch!  Leftover kale and sweet potatoes. My snacks are already at school because I didn’t eat them yesterday. I was too keyed up with school drama and stress to eat them.

lunch

And snack #2  An almost too-ripe pear so it was extra juicy!

Dinner was a green salad with turkey, almonds, and green olives. I know it’s a stretch, but hey, it’s green (except the turkey. ew. )

Looking back over the list for the Green Challenge, I found some things I could improve on. Protecting the environment is the responsibility of every person who benefits from the natural resources. And little things do add up!
