The picture on my title banner on this blog….came from Crested Butte, Colorado. If I could live anywhere else other than Alabama, this would be it. The weather (ie…snow) is one big plus, but the main reasons are the beauty, the trails, and the food. There are not many places to eat along Elk Ave, but there are some
fabulous menus in the few places. This was turkey on rye from the Paradise Cafe’.
This was the best steak I’ve ever had in Colorado. It is from the Grand Lodge restaurant, where we stayed.
This was from a corner grill. It was good, but the fries were not. I had 3.
Crested Butte is the Wildflower Capital of Colorado. See why.
And a road to perfection.
We spent 3 days here and it was hard to leave. I had to drag Stephen back to Alabama kicking and screaming.
