BEACH!! The food.

I promised myself I would branch out and try new foods, especially sea food. I’m a catfish and salmon girl. I’ve heard wonderful things of other seafood and I wanted to try them out.

But not this guy..no way.

Oatmeal with peanut butter, flax, natural granola, and a pumpkin choco chip muffin. Super good and filling.

When I went to take this picture, there was a man standing behind it who was NOT raw and juicy…I waited for him to pass on.

This may have been one of the best things I ate. Yobe’ organic with granola and berries.

grouper

Grouper. Fried to perfection without being greasy. I want more of this!

chowder

Seafood chowder. She said it was made fresh daily with catch from the docks a mile or so away. It tasted AMAZING. I hate a strong fishy taste. This was delicate but rich, if that makes sense.

Ever heard of Amberjack? Yeah, me either. But if I scraped off some of the seasoning, it was dense like salmon but a milder taste like grouper. I will definitely have this again.

This was just “Cajun grilled fish” sandwich. I have no idea but I was looking at the gulf so I figured it was something local and fresh.

I also tried Mahi Mahi and I rank it maybe 3rd in line behind amberjack and grouper. I also had my fair share of these….

cheetos

During the football game…which I’ve blocked from my memory so I can sleep in peaceful denial….my brother in law handed me a bag of these. I immediately turned my nose up because 1) they’re chips and 2) I don’t like jalepeno flavored stuff very much unless it’s raw and minced into oblivion.

But I tried one.

Dangit.

And I’ve had 2 small bags since. They are that good.

I’m off to run a few miles now since I’ve got permanently cheese-flavored fingers.
